Your ASUS computer has all the drivers it needs for normal operation for all the devices that came with it through its driver CD. When a device doesn't work properly when you try to do something, you probably need to update these drivers, since Asus always fixes new driver bugs in time. Method 1: Has anybody ever touched the hardware of your computer?

1. If yes, you'd better reinstall your hardware since there might be a bad contact among the CPU, graphic card and the computer. Then restart your computer and see if it works.

2. If no, you can restart your computer.

Method 2: If your Asus notebook driver is still not working, you need to update a driver for it.

Open Device Manager from the Control Panel.

With Device Manager open, locate the hardware device that you want to update the drivers for.

Navigate through the categories of hardware devices by clicking the > icon.

Specific hardware devices are listed under the major hardware categories.
After finding the hardware you're updating drivers for, right click on the hardware's name or icon and choose Properties.

In this Properties window, click the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button. The Update Driver Software wizard will begin.
If it still doesn't work, try to download a driver on Asus official website.

Method 3: How to Update Drivers for Asus Notebook on Asus's website by Yourself?

Step 1

Click Start, type "cmd" (without the quotations) in the Search Bar and Press "Enter".

Step 2

Type "dxdiag" and press enter. What you got in the popup windows is your system information.

Step 3

Visit this link for a driver. http://support.asus.com/download/

Step 4

Find your Asus Notebook in this form. Click Confirm.

Step 6

Select your OS configuration.

Step 7

Expand the driver list and download the drivers you seek. Select the "Global" link so you don't download using a manager and write the letters displayed on the page in the box. Browse to the location of the file after the download completes and double-click it to open it. Double-click "setup.exe" inside the archive folder you just opened. This runs the installation wizard. Just follow along and you'll finish installing the drivers promptly.
