Microsoft speaker enables us to hear fantastic audio right from home. However, some of the speakers require proper drivers to be installed to reach its full performance. If your speaker did not function well, you need to do the following things to install proper drivers for it.

Steps to Install Microsoft Speaker Drivers

Step 1

Connect your speakers to your computer. Consult the included documentation for specific instructions. If instructed to install the drivers first (not likely, but possible), set up your speakers but do not connect them to your computer yet.

Step 2

Insert the speaker driver disc into your computer's CD/DVD drive and initialize the disc, or visit your speaker manufacturer's website and download the drivers to your computer. Once downloaded, double-click to open the installation file.

Step 3

Follow the onscreen prompts to complete the driver installation. Once complete, consult your documentation for any remaining instructions, then test your new speakers by watching a video or listening to music.
